The Art of Gracious Living is a weekly podcast about creating a life that resonates
with your spirit. It is hosted by Patsy Terrell, a broadcast veteran with more
than 20 years experience. Terrell is passionate about leading a full life, in
the moment, and being grateful for it. In Art of Gracious Living she discusses
how to incorporate that concept into our daily lives.
“’Daily Life’ is the only kind we have,” says Terrell.
“Real living is happening every day, and our society does not encourage
people to cherish the truly important things.” Art of Gracious Living
gives people food for thought and practical ideas they can use to create a daily
life that nurtures them.
“I am convinced that we are forgetting the most basic parts of being human
- everything from how to feed ourselves to how to make connection with each
other,” says Terrell. “I want to help people regain these essential
skills and learn to relish daily living again.”
“While these large issues are the symptom, the cure is in the details. The answer is in taking care of ourselves, as well as each other, in small but meaningful ways,” says Terrell. “A thank you note is not just a piece of mail. It’s proof of a tangible connection between two human beings. It causes people to respond differently to each other and to the world.”
Terrell uses personal experience to illustrate her points and gives listeners a chance to relate topics to their own lives. She seamlessly weaves together diverse subjects and personal observations to help people see how they can lead a more gracious life.
